This must have been asked before, but I can't find any mention of it on the forum.

Is it possible to display text anti-aliased (smooth) to prevent the jagged edge?

Also, is there a way to change the transparency of text so I can fade it in and out?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, I was playing with just that last night and posted it on the forum. When my functions paste the text onto the screen it gets aliased. And now it's slightly optimised it's faster than the built in font functions by about 0.01%

Agent. Brilliant!

I've been trying my best to get back to GDK but with all these juicy dll's for DBP and hardly any converted for GDK it's so annoying. Cloggy's seems to be a lifesaver for many things... (3d Text for one)

Marvellous. That works beautifully.

However, since adding the D3D plugin my application is attempting to connect to the internet (according to Zone Alarm).

Is there something in the plugin that is trying to connect?
