Hi im new to the forums and ive been working with fps creator for awhile and started my first serious project. It is based on the 7 years war or known as the french and indian war and im just simply asking for a flintlock musket or a link to one if possibly free?

Thanks,

This will undoubtedly be locked in a few minutes or hours. You should check out http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=138778&b=24 As well. Now, I am in a good mood, so I will make the mesh for you and texture it. Do you have any ideas on what specific rifle you are looking for?
And what I just said was a friendly reminder. Everyone makes this mistake when joining the forums, don't worry.

EDIT: What I meant in this was wrong board... sorry I have a tendency to babble at times

What mistake was made? He asked for a link if there was one, which there is.

Sigh...

@ Dracware,

Cosmic's Pirate pack has a flintlock pistol and rifle. It may do the trick for you. Here is the thread link:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=157678&b=24

The download can be found here:

Pirates Pack and Bonus material

Hope that helps.

The function of good software is to make the complex appear to be simple.

Hey, sorry about how I replied yesterday, I was in a bad mood and really out of it
As an apology I'll animate the musket for you. I just have to finish a GAIA shuttle first.

The pirate pack also has some colonial British soldiers, also, if you need another musket...

Feel free to animate and use it.

Vent.

How does this look, before I go on to UV Map it.
(click)
There will be a number of details added by the normal map, but I can go a little higher in poly count if you want. It is currently 603 polies.

Added some details, and UV mapped it. Last chance to add anything! This will be done for you hopefully by the end of the week.

I am using wings 3d for modeling/UV mapping, fragmotion for animating, and gimp 2 for texturing.

Here is an update(that usually excuses double posts):
1.Done modeling
2.Almost* done texturing
3.Should be started animating by tonight
*I have the texture done, but I am making adjustments to the normal and specular maps.
There is a render attached.

I know this is a HUGE bump (I really am sorry) not to mention this is a triple post, but it really is necessary to inform you that:
I am still working on this. I have the texture done, and am almost done animating, I should be done by tonight. Then comes the headache of getting it fpsc ready. The reason this took me so long was I had to go somewhere for a while, and had to get a ton of other paid work done. But now that I have a moment, you can expect it friday.
EDIT: I have uploaded a video showing the current state of the animation. I still have a few bugs to fix, but it is almost done.
