Ok. I really need to know what data types can be used by UDTs.

So far, I've figured out you can declare:
booleans
bytes
words
double words
floats
integers
stings

Hmm... That's all I can think of. Does anyone know all the types that are usable?

Like if long words are used, what are they called? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You forgot DOUBLE FLOAT and DOUBLE INTEGER (which is a long).

Right. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again Grog. I knew there had to be some longs around here somewhere!

So, the current list is:
booleans
bytes
words
dwords
floats
double floats
integers
double integers
strings

Is that everything?

That's all of them!
Data types are listed in the help file titled data types.

Click on Home->Principles->Data Types and you've got the list.

Oh, wow, I need to explore the DBP files! I only look at the commands files... Thanks to you both. Alright, I'm off to really dig into those help files!

Take note beginners! Read your files! I've been using DBP for like 5 years in the dark! Lol.

Np.

I use this picture from the help files to remember the bytes each data type take up in a file (for databases) and the range limits.

Yeah. Awesome info.

I learned how to store hex and binary values! Yay! Also, octal, but I've never been a fan of octal.

Although, it's saying %1111*%1111=225, which is wrong...

Opening DBP to do some maths...

Okay, DBPs math with hex and binary are off. It says that %10000*%10000=256 and 0x10*0x10=256. When in actuality, both those equations equal 289. Wait, they're counting %0000 and 0x0 as 0. Nevermind.

Both are correct.

Also, double integers work weirdly, and double floats barely work. See this thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=165055&b=15

Tell me if there's a broken link to images in a thread I post, and I'll fix 'em.

Ugh. That thread reminds me why I code temporarily out of necessity. I'm actually a concept/story/art/music guy... But, if you want a team... You need to know what's going on right? And, have something to show future team members!
