Since I bought FPS x10 a week ago, I have had nothing but trouble with it. I make a simple level and test it, it shuts down. I update the software to V117 and it no longer works right.
MY specs are as follows
intel quad core q6600 2.4 ghz
4 gb ram
Vindows 64 bit vita
2X nvidia gforce 8800 512mb SLI

Like I said once i get to V117, it screws up. The map editior no longer stays in the software and the map screen is outside and ask me over and over again if I want to save my work.

What am I suppose to do install it for the "no joke" 10th time this week and not upgrade past V116

Here are a few reasons why fpsc X10 doesn't work good on your computer.

1. I don't think your videocard is good enough. (I'm not sure)

2. The update you installed is for fpsc X9 not for X10 .

I think you need to backup your files and reinstall the software and then update the software with the check for updates option. you can find it here HELP \ CHECK FOR UPDATES.

I hope that helps.

cheers

Nah, my video card is pretty darn good since it is sli. The problem was that those updates were only for the fps 9. I finally found something on it. Thanks though for the help it means a lot.

So with everyone telling me that x10 is no longer be supported, that means no more updates for x10 and that eventually fpsc9 will becoming better and have all the features of x10?

I own X10 and I haven't heard from TGC that they have stopped support for it. I can't find that from TGC anywhere. Right now it just seems that some are saying that because there hasn't been an update for a while. I'm checking it out.

Nope. I think it was in the migration thread. Somewhere in those pages. Maybe. But it was stated.

X9 is coming along and has some nice features... there are still some differences tho... like instancing that x9 does not support.

good news is you can use your x10 serial number to get X9 for free

Nowhere does it say that they dropped support for their product. You should understand the difference between support and development.
