i have been looking for video tutorials for ages but all i could find on youtube was dcforemanuk which i have done all the things his tutorials show so i searched so reading tutorials i was suggested this but i couldnt understand half of what he wrote and it wasnt very helpful

And, a quick Google search for "Darkbasic Pro Tutorial" returned several pages of tutorials from all over the web, some of which appear to be fairly extensive. That thread probably has a tutorial on nearly anything you could need though.
