Hi,

I am trying a different approach to level design. I started with one segment and made a small room. Keeping with that segments motif, I have created some of my own media to go with it. Segments include invisible wall, steps and a rail. For the steps I have made one rail entity. I am really happy with how it’s turning out. I have searched the forum and tried everything. Bullet holes appear in the invisible wall and not in the steps. The FPS files are practically identical. For both rails I get bullet holes in the posts but not on the railings. How can one model have bullet holes in only some areas? This is not a show stopper but if anyone has any idea why this is happening, I would be very thankful.

The bullet holes in the railing can be fixed by changing the segment type in the FPS file I think, not sure about the bulletholes though

Ok, I got the invisible wall fixed by saving the mesh with a simple skeletal structure. No more bullet holes. I’m including the invisible wall files for everyone to test. Just in case it’s a fluke.

Thanks

Edit: Guess it was a flute. Just removed the skeleton and still no holes. I have no clue why. But I have a invisible wall without bullet holes now.
