When purchasing fpsc with paypal, must the money be in my paypal when i wish to make the pruchase, or can the echeque method be used? (press the 'purchase' button and tgc will wait for my paypal to take money from my bank account and send it to there paypal)

TGC does all their payment verification manually, so they will send once they verify the payment. Yes, that should be fine if you don't mind the wait.

As long as you have the money in Paypal, your connected bank or your connected Credit Card, it'll all go through.
