Hello,

I bought DBP in 2008, experimented with it for some time and realy liked it. For some reason I got driven away from it because of other interests.

I want to make a new start with it.
What I have is the following:

DBPro_5_4_high.exe

Enhancement pack v4
EZRotate 191107
DarkPhysics v1 + update 105
DarkAI v105
SpritePack1

If anybody is willing to give me some info about the updates for DBPro_5_4_high.exe and eventualy for the mentioned addons so the whole set becomes up-to-date with todays standard, I would be very thankfull.

I remember that there was an issue about the preferred code-editor and that I then chose for the U73 (if I am correct).
Please some comment on this as well if you don't mind.

Hit me up on MSN/google talk, I can assist personally. There's a few things you'll need to know.

Well, I myself am returning back after a much needed break from everything. What prompted me back was the eBooks that Digital Skills has for DBPro. I was trying to get going with DBPro back in 2009, but then I had to attend to some RL stuff. Now with more time on my hands, I've decided to see if anything has changed, etc.

I have a personal blog that I'm using as motivation to push myself to work with this language and to show other newcomers out there that all it takes is some practice and consistency to learn everything. Feel free to follow it: Universe Star.

Who knows, maybe you'll end up asking me a question which helps me learn something more about DBPro. For the record, I'm basically going to approach this as if I am a complete n00b. I figure that using a clean slate could produce some interesting results.

Anyhow, I am using the main install updated to the most current update. Just using the standard Synergy Editor that it comes with. As well I am using my daughter's laptop which is a Windows 7 Home Premium machine. As for specs, nothing great, scores a 3.4 in here. I would divulge some specs, but that isn't relevant at this point.

Hey, a fellow Dutchman. Welkom!

About what version to use, I'm guessing it's important to know what libraries you wish to use. Most of them are compatible with the latest version.
