I lurked here for a long time, Some of you may know me as Metal Devil Production's texture guy (I made that one tile floor segment).
Well I decided I'd make a account and post here and contribute and such.
Here is my first contribution, Me, being a segment person (More-so better at floors) I have re-done my old tile floor (Re-did the normal map and such), Done a Bathroom Wall segment and a carpet flooring segment, And a seamless sci-fi metal floor segment for the man that requested one in Metal Devil's old thread about this I never got around to that and sorry.
The normal maps may be a bit over-done but I'm sure you can fix it to your needs if you got the time. Here are some pictures.(Reduced to save loading times and page size).
Seamless - Carpet Flooring

Almost Seamless - Bathroom Wall

Seamless - SciFi Metal Floor

Re-Do of Tile Floor

Being in the mood of Dead Island (A new zombie game coming out in the fall) I decided to start a Dead Island themed segment pack right now I am only done with the first piece, A tile flooring for Island Hotels, I will try to work on modeling and such to make a fake island name sign that is grunged up and such. Note: I have no idea how to model so if someone would like to help and make this a community project that would be greatly appreciated. Anyways, Not my best work btw, Still kinda in W.I.P , Here is a picture.

Great day to be at the beach!

Oh No! It snowed! (Just decided to make a snow segment, Not enough of them.)

Looks good, except in my opinion the specular is way to overpowered, at least on the carpet, plaster, sand, and snow.

I think the carpet, sand and snow needs some work. I belive they also don't need specular maps on them since (as far as I know) they don't really react to light that much or at all. But since I don't know how to do any of this, im not really the one to say much...

The Bathroom wall really looks good as they are the most exposed to water, so they reflect light more than anything else.

The Plaster wall also looks real. In my room, they do look like that because of the paint. However this is only when the light is close to the wall or is very bright. So you could tone down the spec on that one...

Besides that, everything looks great !

Sorry if I nit-picked your stuff too much...

Alrighty I will just see how they look without a specular, or with a specular toned down a little tomorrow. I'm off to bed now, I am also taking requests but not too many, 1 at a time, If someone has already requested something wait until I am done with it and posted it to request something, I won't do all requests.
