You need the extra's for Darkbasic Professional 7.4. This has the source code for FPS Creator V115. Then copy the Dll,s per intructions. If you want to compile a newer version of FPS Creator than you will need to update Darkbasic and you will need the Darklights and DarkAI plugins.

EDIT: Sorry, checked that line of code again. it looks like it's not a version issue. It is probably compiling just fine. I have just confirmed this if you compiled with Make EXE/Run you get this error because after compiling the EXE is run. The executible should be in your project folder. you need to backup the FPSC-game file in the FPSC directory and copy the new file.

yes. ¡¡¡¡¡¡

This error is mine ..... true ... (I click compile + run).....
I compiled without error now, but, when i changed the "original" .exe for my compiled .exe....does not work

I¨m now tested with the 7.5 DBPro and extras for version 7.5 (I have the darklight and darkAI plugin)(the plugin test examples in the project folder, that work well ) ... but when I try to compile the FPS game gives me this error .......

could not determinate parameter type "reset left eye() at line 2767

anyone can help me with this error please ...???????

I have also seen that the extras have been removed ,older versions of extras(7.1,7.2,7.3 )....¿ someone has and can post ,please????( look for version 1.16 or 1.09 of FPSC

Thanks ....

(sorry my bad english)

Unless you want to use VR920 Video Eyewear. You can just remark these 3 lines.

From version 6.6 to 7.4 I don't believe ever had the extras.

I don’t have the necessary plugins to compile the FPSC-Game.exe for versions above 115. Deleting the lines or commenting them out should work.

After compiling the test game and after clicking ok, you may need to press alt-tab.

This alt-tab issue should go away after running it a few times. It has for me. What error are you having with 1.17. I can't test anything from this point on, myself. I have the source code and still may be able to help.

Try this, download the attachment. Replace the FPSC-Game.DBA with this one, in you project folder. This is the original source. I changed the three line that read vr920exist=reset left eye() to vr920exist=0. This is the value I believe would be returned if the vr920 device is not present.

This is a totally unrelated error. Try changing line 6909 to "set object frame obj,limb,1". The Set Object Frame command should only have two or three parameters, not four. It's my guess the pose variable doesn’t belong.

EDIT: Never mind. I was going by the help files. After reading the change log for DBPro 7.5. I see a forth parameter has been added.
Also the Reset Left Eye has been added to 7.5.

Are you compiling this with DBPro 7.5?

Hi technotdc,

Happy to hear you have this all sorted out. Here is the lastest release of the source code. This has been released after the official 1.18 update, from google code. To compile this you need DBpro upgrade 7.7 RC7. Here is the link to that thread.

You are welcome, my friend.
