Hey, do you think that i could get a discount on the DBpro Manual if i were to buy the DarkBASIC Studio Bonanza?

I dream of a better world, where chickens can cross the road without being questioned of their motives.

I doubt any of the new versions even come with a manual... and of course if you managed to get a copy with a manual it would be outdated. The help files have enough to learn the syntax of the commands but your best bet is to check out TDKs Tutorials to learn the basics of Darkbasic.

The Bonanza pack is $49.99 for $466 worth of software. That gives you over $400 of a saving, which will buy you all the books out there on DBP and DGK with an awful lot of change too.

None of the books out there are actually owned or commissioned by TGC so you couldn't get a bundle with them in anyway.

Hijacking the topic a bit, I take it there are no discounts on the DGDK licence for DBPro buyers? It is pretty much exactly the same library after all.

You can't sell anything made with Darkbasic if you use the free version. If you bought it then you're ok.

That's what I meant; I have the full version of DBP (and have had it for 6 years or so, and then DBC another year before that... ahem ), but DGDK also requires a licence, and, seeing as it is essentially the same thing, you'd think a discount for the DBP owners might be in place.

Not like I wouldn't pay $70 or whatever it is if I ever finished a project, but just thinking
