what exacly are you talking about ?
dynamic shadowns ?
dark shadowns ?
both ?

i know it's light placement, but i wonder if you found a better way to use those dynamic shadowns, maybe even managed to avoid "THAT" problem ?

@light mod: ohh... i wish better dynamic shadowns to be one of the new features of the upcoming fpsc update 1.19 , well let's hope for the best !

mods for creating a inteligent game,at least

Try reducing the lightmap quality and size settings.

lightmapsize 512 is ok. lightmapquality 35 works fine and is enough quality. 100 is a bit overstatement, neartly unuseable on complex maps

@TO: are you talking about shadow-settings, shaders (for shadows on objects) or how to create good looking light-settings/composition?

the lightning-composition is definitely the most important thing on it, and that is made out of experience and learning. you cannot shoot this from the hip.

do you have the link to the video so we can look at it, too?
