You're not giving us a whole lot of info. Are you talking about passing variables to an external program (that you haven't made)? Or are you talking about a code problem that you're having (if so we need to see some code)?

send and get variables to a generic chess engine?

Generic Pc Chess games have 2 parts..
+ Engine
+ GUI

i can make the GUI but i like use a generic chess engine like Stockfish, deepblue or others..
but i don't know how comunicate my app to engine

MyApp.exe + ChessEngine.exe = Regular Pc Game Chess.

Well, if it's not a program you made, you would have to know where in memory it is sending and receiving data. Then, you would have to know how many bytes long each bit of info is. After you know that, it's a matter of reading from and writing to those particular memory addresses.

If you download Stockfish it comes with the C++ source code. If you program with DarkGDK you can easily add it to your program without having to send information to it as an external program.
