Ok. I just finished my entry in the Looney Lander challenge of the coding challenges thread, and I'm proud of it. I would really like to send it to my friends and family.

Here's the deal, though. I emailed it to my parents, and my dad told me that there was an error. He said my game kept asking about some DirectX 9 version. This is the thing... I went with my parents to buy a new computer(before the game was completed), and they got a new one with Windows 7, and I checked it. It has DirectX 11!

So, my question is, why won't it play on their comp!? Do they have to have DirectX 9?

Thanks in advance.
Amo.

DirectX9 is separate from DirectX10. Have them google the download and get the websetup.exe program for it. Easy.

Also, make sure to tell them that installing DirectX 9 does not overwrite any files, it just adds to whatever other version you have.
