So, I'm working on importing a makehuman character into FPSC.

It's proceeding okay. Here are a few issues I am having though.

In the preview screen (edit mode), one of the vertexes appears out of place, but when I go in game and test, it is fine. Should I be worried?

Here is the edit preview:

In game, looks fine though:

Also, placing the firespot. It seems some weapons look okay (like the Colt), but others like the Uzi are out of place with the hands behind the weapon. Do I just move the firespot back? Or is it like that for all models (works with some weapons, but not so well with others?)

I'm still tweaking it. Here is what it looks like so far:

I haven't tried this myself yet, but what you may want to try is importing to blender via mhx format and constraining the makehuman armature to follow Daniel Wright's skeleton. then when you bake the makehuman armature, it will create an action that you can just apply to future projects.

Good job btw

Maybe I will play around with Blender later.

Here is what I have so far. I'll call it a WIP since I can't test everything. It seems to work with most weapons, but not really the Bazooka. The placement makes it look like its thru the head. The Autoslug an mingun look the best imho, but the others are okay. Getting the firespot to a location that was somewhat reasonable took some work. The anims seem to look and work okay as far as I can tell.

The downside is probably the overall size (memory) of the model. I did use the forsaken model and maybe that was too many polys. (Live and learn, right?)

If you find a major problem with it, please let me know so I can improve my skills.

Looking for feedback and if anyone needs to use it or wants to modify the textures, feel free to.
