Ok so I have some light sabers and I know absolutely nothing about making gamecore files. So, I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to teach me? Thanks for your time.

Cheers.

I just take one from another weapon and edit the animation keys (and anything else that needs to be changed) to match the weapon's.

You should see something like this

You'd edit the keyframe numbers to match the ones in your animated model.

Somewhere in the program it's animated in you should see some number change when you play the animation, these are the "keys".

In FragMotion you can see it in the corner (attached).

If you don't understand what I mean with the gunspec then, for example, if the part of the animation where the weapon reloads starts is, for example, 50, and that part ends on 70, then the keys for Reload = would be 50,70. All parts of the animation from between those numbers would play.

You can also change Start Fire = X,X and End Fire = X,X, to just Fire = X,X. So you don't need 2 parts.

Those are just entity files. They aren't weapons. Here, I rigged the green one to my machete animations (which are very rough)

There aren't any pickups, you'll have to do that yourself or have someone do it, as I've never actually done it, though, I think it's easy.

So how do you make it into a weapon? It really is confusing me. I hate asking for help but I need it.

You animate it (or rig it) then put the .x file (titled HUD.x) into a folder in gamecore/guns/XXXX/XXXX along with the gunspec, texture(s), and anything else that can go with the gun(ie: sounds).

Blender, yes. Wings, no, it lacks animation tools. Anim8or, no, it's animations won't work with FPS Creator.

The .x files (HUD.x) in the gamecore>guns>XXXX is the weapon, but I cannot help you with anything in Blender, as I do not use it.

Does it look cool for blue text to appear?

There's a rigging tutorial from bootlicker around here.
