Is there a way to convert a wall segment to an entity? I am trying to create a hidden passageway and using the segments from the room would blend better than trying to line up bookshelves (which are to short).

Search for Wethams "Entity Workshop".

It is a great program that allows you to load any model (the .x file), resize it, retexture it and then save it as an entity.

But if you are talking about a stock segment, its probably easier to just copy a stock wall entity and put the right texture onto it.

Also nbt's free sewer pack includes a secret wall that actually opens. Download it (search in "models and media") and have a look.

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

i think i have the same in mind as you, like exploding walls a.o. ?^^

i didn“t try it yet, but it should be possible to simply copy a custom entity, rename the fpe and exchange used .x-file and texture with the ones from the segment-fps. you then just have to modify x/y/z-axis to place it right in the room and change entity-properties.

Thanks for the help. Between Wethams "Entity Workshop" and funny's secret passage script http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=114088&b=23. I got it figured out for the most part.
