Because Lee took a survey some months ago in an update thread, and the community agreed that killing that button was a good idea.
(there were even videos of its death, so do a search)

I am pretty sure that it was 50% buggy. HOWEVER the Function still exists, the button does not.

It seemed to crash the engine 90% of the time it was used for most users, it was removed. Black Fox even wrote a poem about it.

I missed it so much I didn't realise it was gone until I reinstalled V1.0 and clicked it by accident, hoping to test game.

Hello Light Mod and everyone,

The "Quick preview level"no longer exists, however there is a button named "Close Up View" (please, see the image in attachment) on the toolbar of the map editor that is similar to level quick preview button and more, the generated image resolution is great and better than the image displayed by the level quick preview.

So, using the mouse wheel you get zoom in and zoom out effect, right click the mouse button and hold it, and you will can fly around the scene.

Also you can see the waypoint and the whole pathfinding, but I do not know if there is any way to move the objects in the scene, I think not!

Cheers!

Because I always felt like being hit by a sledgehammer when I accidentally clicked it instead of the test level button.
