I have a very simple question, why do most of the modelers here not like Wings 3d? While there are a few here and there, like General Jackson and I, that use it; most people here don't even mention it when listing off modeling softwares. I have found it to be quite powerful for low poly modeling, and I get great results with it. So, what do so many of you find wrong with it?

I didn't know it existed, I doubt anyone really dislikes it.

It's a good program, just not my preference.

nobody as far as i know have ever said they dislike it as a software, I personally just dislike the way modelling is done in it and the interface was meh imo, but iam sure it is a great program, i have seen a lot of great models done in it

and for the record, I am a man.

I like it, and would use it more if it weren't for some compatibility issues with my computer.

I use it for UVmapping. It has one of the best uv mappers in my opinion. I've even written a tutorial on uvmapping in Wings on the forums.

Wow, that needs a major update.

I love it!

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

i use wings as my main source of modeling. i used to texture them in it, but as the newer updates the texturing just don't work well for me anymore. I don't know why.
