Is there an easy way, or a 3rd part dll, to have sub windows inside of a window. Where the upper left corner of each one can be referenced as 0,0? Can you do this with cameras? What if you only want to deal in 2d? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand what it is you want, but if you're trying to render two things at the same time, (like two player split screen) then you have to use multiple cameras and sprites. Though, that's pretty slow...

Ya basically, I want some split screens. However, the "sub-windows" wont be for a 3d environment, they will only contain 2D stuff. Can I still use cameras for this? Thanks.

Is it possible for anyone to post an example, much appreciated.

In that case, why not just use a bitmap for each subwindow, then use the COPY BITMAP command to copy the subwindow to the correct place on your main display?

Genious! Thanks IanM...but there is one more thing, if I have the mouse in the upper left corner of the "sub window" I want it to be referenced as (0,0) is there any built in way to do this? If not I can write a work-around.

No, what you will need to do is detect when the mouse is within your subwindow, then adjust the mouse coords by subtracting the subwindow coords.
