I don't believe it's activated using buttons. You have to set it up and activate it using scripts.

No to get water it is very simple, i should make a guide on this. Anyways, when you are in the editor go into entities. Do you see something called Water Zones? If not you can download it here:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=176933&b=21

Once you download it, put the files in the appropriate spots. Then re-open your editor and now you should see Water Zones. Add the one that says Water just for testing.

When you run the test-game do you see water? If not go into this folder:
\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\scriptbank\waterscripts
Now open water.fpi with notepad, to change how high the water is you should see waterheight. If it's not there open up the other water zones to help you!

I hope this mini tutorial helps!!! Does anyone know where i could post a legit tutorial?

Are you sure you placed a ground that you can stand on? And i don't know why the zones are showing up... Are you sure you put the files in the right sections? You can see my bigger tutorial here:

Hope this helps!

Well, they dont really describe where to place the files...
I opened the Water zone zip and then the entity bank file then put those in the fpsc entitybank folder. same with the scripts

I don't know what is going on here... bit long winded!

All I do is drop a trigger zone in and assign the water.fpi script, once in the game you can adjust the water level manually, always worked for me!

I didn't know you could edit it in game, are you using a mod? or the water that i posted in my previous comments? And cooldude it seems like you did everything right? What version or FPSC are you using 1.18 or 1.17? Or below that?

@Exu Corporations - you can alter the Water Height in-game with Page Up and Page Down!
