Well I was pondering what to do when for slayer's community model pack, and I came up with this:
This was going to be a challenge but I pulled through!11

Did you even texture your other gun yet?

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

I would recommend learning to UV map.

AJ Schaeffer@
you are being incredibly harsh, I'm right in thinking that this is his first attempt at UV mapping and texturing, just pasting an image is a very common first attempt and he has pulled it off rather well.

I would however recommend seperating each key segment of the weapon and creating a texture from scratch using a photo as a reference as this will improve your texturing and UV mapping skills, as well as improving the quality of the model.

@Mazz426 I didn't think pasting an image on the side was UVmapping or texturing at all.

Im not trying to be mean but I'm just stating the facts. I guess I'm just used to being told how terrible my models were...

Didnt see your post but normally i consider my work being slaughtered a good sign, especially on the likes of polycount. Thats as long as they've given advice afterward. Constructive critisim works better if your cold and 'harsh' to a point about its flaws and then you follow up with ideas for improvement, links to tutorials, paintovers, references whatever the hell you can offer that will then help that person get better.

Ive never used milkshape so i have no idea if it can render.I suggest googling for it

I like it, i made one similar to it here awhile back, although it was so high poly that when i put it in DBP it took the frame rate from around 45 to 1 FPS so i had to do a good bit of decreasing! lol
