@ xplosys I have only seen subway tunnels in movies some have had stone and others seem to be silt, probably lots of metal dust on dirt. so I was unsure how to texture them, but I'm looking into different textures for the floors.

@ DarkFrost Hopefully you won't have to wait long.

Excellent modelling and texture work ZP.

Just a note about the stone bit, it's too bright and vibrant for the scene. You could do with a dark and charcoal type look so they're barely visible, all trains including subway trains leak oil constantly + the dirt from secluded tunnels + rain etc.

Very nice work ZP. Quick question; can the player walk along those 'platforms' either side of the track? I'm thinking Soldier of Fortune New York Subway level recreation!!

@ Disturbing 13 Thanks, I'm trying to keep the flaws to a minimum..lol

@ Sting Thank You, I have modified the texture of the rail bed

@bruce3371 Thank You, And yes I think the player can walk on the platforms.

@ Shadowdeath Thank You.

Here is a pic of the reworked railbed

I'm not trying to be a pain... really!

The rail bed looks much better but now there's too much contrast where it meets the walls. You may want to darken the bottom of those walls to ease them into the floor.

You probably just haven't got around to that yet.

Brian.

I have a question. I made a 3rd rail to kill the player. I used a script from my dads plasma field.
I walked into the plasma field, and died as expected. I crossed the 3rd rail 3 times before I died, now
for the strange part. I don't die on a restart from either model. nothing has changed, and I have deleted
all dbo. and bin files.????

I'm well impressed with your NY subway system ZP

Only (teeny weeny) crit I have is the rails/sleepers look so clean compared to the rest. Maybe soak some of that grime and oil up in the wooden sleepers?? and darken the base/sides of the rails??

All in all though, very very nice
