@Green Gandalf - Yep, I'm continuously mapping the UV all around the edge. The end coords join the start coords and the UV messes up on the very last face (last two triangles). The solution I'm going to put into place is to add just another 2 vertices and fix the UV using those.

With the speed it generates everything at the moment for even a large scale map with generated textures, I don't see a need to make a dll out of this. So I'll fix anything as it comes up and leave it to the community to those that may find it useful.

The speed increase was implemented using a very simple method. The random edge selection only picks one from the last 12% of the edges. This stops it from finding way too many edges intersecting.

I've got a couple of days now (the weekend business) were I doubt I'll be able to do much but I'll get that last face UV'd properly very soon...

EDIT: I've not yet found a random seed that gives a decent wall behind the player. he he
