So after finishing my G22 remake, i decided to get my ak working. When you fire once it sounds fine, but when you go full auto it sounds horrible like the sound is replaying REALLY fast. Does anyone know why this happens? And or how i can fix it? Thanks! If i have time ill post a video of what i mean..

soundfile and video would help.

if firerate is very high the sound is played just for milliseconds. when you have done a bad incut you just get crispy soundflakes sound like your boxes are damaged.

I took a video showing the gun im having problems with, ignore the G22. That one is working and is complete already. The AK is the the problem, and i have taken and edited an AK47 sound effect for the firing sound and it's the same length as the original fire.wav. So i don't know whats wrong... But you can watch the video and see what my problem is.. Thanks for commenting!

ak sounds as it should be (know them in real-life from german army, its a higher sound than g3, equal to g36 plasticsh*t^^), but firerate of the sound is much higher than the animation and decal show up. you have to equalize that in lengthen the sounds (sound is played in loop as long as you pull the trigger) or set higher firerate for the weapon. as you wish.

ak74/47 has a lower firefrequence than your sound, so if you want to get it realistic, equalize sound, not animation, that looks equal to the real weapon. simply insert a pause at the end of the sound and i think tripple the length, then you should be near it and you would have enough place to insert a slight echo if you wish.

i dont know if they get pausing the sound automatically through the gunspec, could be that there is the problem. have a look in the soundsetting there.

Ill try messing with the firerate and settings to get it to work. I will probably edit the AK sound too, i wasn't really going for realistic. But thanks for the comment and i will try my best to get it working!
