Hey guys!
A few of you might remember I planned to release some of my segments a while ago. I never got around to it, been super busy with school and all that. I decided to set a few days aside, and get them all ready again.

And I'm pleased to say, they are ready, and more ready than ever. Every map has been revised.
Seams have been fixed, Normals have been optimized, and Specs have been toned.
Now, just a note, these aren't up for sale YET. But they will be in the next few days, or possibly this weekend.

NOTE: These segments use Bond1's Normal mapping shader. I CAN NOT supply it with the pack, but can direct you where to get it.
KaBoom.

GRUNGE PACK
So, now for some screenshots. Here is the Grunge pack. AUD $4.00
Here are just a few of the segments you could receive.

SciFi PACK
Here is the SciFi pack. AUD $3.00
Again, only some of what you will receive.

I've done a lot of asking around about the prices for this, and at this stage, they are final. I've worked hard to create these textures, taking up a few days of my own time to bring these to you guys, so all purchases are greatly appreciated.
Not only will you have some more high quality shader ready segments to decorate your levels with, You also motivate me to come back and make more and more again.

So, Ill just leave you all with these shots until release, which will be sometime this weekend or early next week.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Ill post up some more details on the date of release, and also a special surprise

Until then, my friends!

Mmm, just to not be blunt, but the texture work isnt the best... is extremely 'photoshop' (it means that it looks pretty CG[NOT FROM LIKE CG TEXTURES])

i'd work more on it before selling em'

Lets get into serious stuf

What about the blue text?.

I've been working on them for months DarkJames.
I appreciate the feedback, but they are some of the best work I've ever done.
Yes, Photoshop was used, Yes CG Textures was used, (was not the only resource) but there were no filters or anything like that used.
How else is this work done?

I feel these already are of a commercial quality.
Again, I appreciate the feedback.
The sale of the packs still stands.

@Darkjames: Man, what have YOU ever released or shown on this forum that allows you to be SO judgemental of other people's work? I can understand you have crits, but the way you say it makes a BIG difference

@Titanium: I like 'em, well atleast the top one. The sci-fi does though, look a bit washed out, but maybe thats because of the lighting or the ones you have selected to show... how about adding more screenshots for those hard to please buyers?

Cheers,
Anayar

@TiTaniUm

I like the scifi ones.I hope no one does not want them then I can be the only one with.lol.joking

but i may buy scifi. the other one look great to. people like me will buy this and other pack like this because they are shader ready.Im not lazy but it take a lot of time to the fps segment file shader ready.I done this in x10 so it a lot of work and you should get payed for the time you took on these.

now only if fpsc had a program that could make you fps segment file shader.that would be also.

more than what meets the eye

Couldn't agree more. I appreciate feedback, but I'd like it in a more constructive way.

I think what he is after is something that takes the Diffuse texture, makes all the required maps out of it for you, and then compiles it all into the shader.

Thanks again for the feedback guys. I've just found a few small minor seams and that that I have now fixed up, alongside some color correcting for a few of them to fit together easier.

Just so you know, most of the parts are supposed to be interchangeable. (aside from the obvious ones).
Included in the pack are Slope, Diagonal, Corner, Floor, and Room segments. This can make just about any shape of room build able with a flat surface.
there are however some seam/shader issues with these parts, particularly on the corner/diagonal ones. This is due to the mesh and isn't something that I can fix (or to my knowledge, anyone else for that matter (inside this engine).

Ill keep everyone updated towards the date of release.

i mean this file so I dont have to put the shader name on every effect part.and tell it read texture D2. like wolf new pack I dont have to fix any of that.your new pack as well.since they are shader ready.I now doomster made a program that takes any jpg or tga and sign them to dds.it would been nice to sign them to D2.dds.thats all I meant.
