i was wondering if any body could tell me the default folder that all the updates need to look for ? so that the update won't crash and say that DBPRO wasn't found.

You need to add a registry entry with your install path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Dark Basic/Dark Basic Pro/INSTALL-PATH
