Hello everyone! I've been trying to change and modify some of my weapons, specifically with one weapon I:

- changed the firerate, but the fire rate didn't actually change

-created a new muzzle flash and changed the gunspec to that flash, but the flash isn't appearing when I test my game

-edited the gun model in wings 3d and re-exported it as the HUD.x file into the guns gamecore, but the model remained unchanged


This is very frustrating and is sort of stunting my growth with FPSC. If anyone could help that would be immensely apreciated. Thank you!

Did you delete the .dbo files?

Thank you Vent, that seemed to work. However, now the animations, textures, and overall functionality of the gun are gone. AHHH! You know, I'm starting to consider just leaving this gun making stuff to the professionals.

Since you edited the gun model, the texture map will be different, so you will need to UV map and texture it yourself.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks Mr Bigglesworth (nice name btw).

What if I wanted the model to retain the same animations as it had before though? Is that possible?

[edit] I re-uv mapped it, but it still has no texture. Maybe it's because I'm using wings 3d?
