I guess that uzi looks higher poly than it is, but it isn't in a wire-frame render, so i can't see the poly's anyways.

Anayar

I need to get into contact with you. Will you be available to chat via Skype this weekend? I know this is short notice, but I'm going to try and get the rest of the crew in too. It has been too long. If you see any of the others around, or online, ask them if they are able to get together at the usual time
We need to get rolling again.

Aaah... I'm back home in the US. After a long vacation it's a bit hard to jump straight back in to school and work so I might not be as active on here as I was during the summer, but I'll be on for a few hours a day

Now, to answer your queries

Quote: "Any update dude? Also, I've been modeling an M202 Flash Rocket Launcher in my spare time if you want it."

Well... Frankly no. I haven't yet settled down in my house yet (which is a total mess). I'll try my best to get some shots up this weekend and wrpnthis up by next week. And I'm not going to give a confirmed yes on the rocket launcher, because as I said before, I want to get the current guns done first

Quote: "Sent in the M16A1."

Received. Don't recall if I replied

Quote: "Hello Anayar, sorry, I had a few accidents again... Long story bro..."

Hey Crysis... Good to see you back alive (jk), though I am a bit pissed at you for ditching me and Evan right in the middle of the project Hope your back and we can get that rolling again now though

As for the Uzi (or Ingram or whatever) I'll be happy to take it if you can texture it for me bro model looks quite good... Could you post or send me a wireframe?? Also, what is the poly count in tris??

Quote: "Anayar I email you please get back to me as soon as you can."

Received and replied

Quote: "is this going to be free? i mena im addmitably more happy with the free ones but man. this is just too good to turn down. amazing workk guys i cant wait for it. different camo to! loving it"

Quote: "This will be free, unless Anayar changes his mind, but I highly doubt he'll do that."

Stab me, shoot me and leave me to die but this'll still be free lol

@Titanium: Yeah, I was wondering the same thing... Anyways sure, I think I can do that. Email me with the time and date

Cheers,
Anayar

Great to hear from you again. If I can figure out a UV unwrapping workflow for myself, I'll try to make the M202 for you and maybe help out with any other unfinished guns. Keep in mind that that's if I have any time. btw...Welcome home!

Where have I been? *sigh*
Well that has been the theme of the last 50 or so emails in my inbox and calls from my gf, parents, friends and classmates. Well let's just say it's a hell of a long story...

A couple weeks ago, after landing back in the US, i was visiting a friend back home. At about 3am I was driving back home when I stopped at a McDonalds to get a drink. When I came back there were a few big black guys eyeing my car... Idk maybe I should have known something was wrong then. Anyways, I opened the car door to get in and one of the Guys comes up and holds it open... He asked me to get out of the car. Of course I said no, but that was probably the most stupid thing to do cause the next thing I knew there was glass shattering on my head and I was lying on the side of the road with my car driving away OVER my goddamn foot. Fortunately one of the McDonalds workers who had come out for a cigarette break heard the sounds and came running, called an ambulance and got me to the hospital.

Anyways, I don't want to share what happened after that but I got about 18 stitches in my head where whatever hit me had cut my head to the skull and my leg had a compound fracture. Docs tell me I won't be able to run anytime in the near future which is what I'm REALLY pissed about because I had a track scholarship lined up. Anyways, I've been resting in the hospital since then taking just the occasional break to peak at the forums... But apparently the thing damaged the vision part of my brain or something because my eyes went blurry and my head started spinning.

Docs said not to look at a screen again for a week, or read a book... So basically not do anything. This is literally the first time I'm looking at a pc since being discharged... Gladly it's not hurting at all so my vision should be back to normal. At least I hope.

Anyways, sorry to bore you all with the long story, I'm actually supposed to type a little every day now to make sure my fingers and stuff haven't been messed up at all so I guess this counts for today. Needless to say, no work has been done on this pack but I hope to be back and kicking in a weeks time... I hope you understand and accept my sincere apologies. Plus I have all these fing AP classes which I missed for almost 2 weeks so I'll have enough to do right there...

*sigh* anyways. I should be back to my normal level of activity on the forums by next week... Hopefully. Don't expect me on MSN for a while though

Cheers ,
Anayar

I'm so sorry for you Abhi. I should have known something was up with you being so inactive. You will be in my prayers.

Did they rob you of all of your money or just your car and all that was in it? Did anyone get the cops on this?

Thanks Vent... yeah, its NOT fun being a cripple

Thanks Asher! Yeah, hope to be around more soon... had a LOT of stuff planned and half finished (Poloflece ) that I havent been able to get around to

Thanks Spudnik. Yeah, tell me about it...

oh wait, I must have forgotten to tell you what happened to the car. Well BMW has a great location tracking service so the car was found parked in a back alley but the people who did it have not been found. The car has a thousand new scratches though which makes me wonder what the hell they did with it. Hopefully my insurance will cover that

And guess what? The first bills came in today... first one is the ER doctors copay of $400 (after insurance). They save your life in the ER then kill you with the bills

Appreciate it mate. No... actually they didnt take anything on my person at all (atleast I dont think they did). All they took was the car and its contents And everythign in the car was intact too... I guess they left it in a hurry when they realized that the IDrive could track their location

Thank you all for the kind words! Makes a guy feel lucky to have such good friends who hes never met lol Speaking of which... Dipo... man after I recover we should totally meet up lol.

Cheers,
Anayar

Lol wee should.
Just let me know when you feel better.

I's scary to think that while I was in the same state ,who know how many miles away, was safe and sound while you were mugged.
Is there anything I can do to help?

Ok, is this pack ever gonna be released? It was supposed to be released 2 months ago.. Is this going to release soon, or is this project dead???

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Comments like these kinda make me wonder why I even started this ...

@Polo: Thanks mate

@ALL: The pack is being worked on ATM. I am rigging & texturing the final weapon. After the process of getting the guns into FPSC and making them work properly I will post updates of ALL the completed guns IN FPSC for you guys. Till then I request you to please have a bit of patience... Its not like this is my job, and I still have studies to worry about so...

The pack has been delayed because Anayar had some pretty bad things happen. However from the looks of it, he is up and running again. I think he is working on the pack, but there isn't a new release date yet.

[EDIT]

I may've missed something in the thread, but any ETA on the release?
I have a few things to discuss with you.

Edit;
By the way, whats the current gun count on this pack?

I'm not putting an ETA on this because I don't want to once again not be able to meet it. I want this to be a pack that shouts "quality" not "rushed to meet deadline" so all I can say ATM is that it'll be done before year end

Saw your email btw, not sure what you mean by "same as last time"

Current gun count I'd at 15. I eliminated ones I felt wouldn't live up to expectations and ones that didn't meet the quality so the new gun count is 15. There will of course be an expansion but that is it for the basic release.

Cheers,
Anayar

Cool! an expansion would be kinda cool. I am mostly excited for the intervention, Makarovs, Enfield, Heckler & Koch UMP45 w/ Attachments, and HKG3, + Mark12 High power. This will be an awesome pack. Definitely worth the wait...
