I need to know how to make a story for FPS Creator.

What I mean is how do you take what you have for a story idea and place it in the game itself

Try a search beforehand.
If this was different to how you meant, apologies, but you should better outline and describe what you're after in your post.

Hmmm...Hard one.
Oh I know!
You sit down, but actual effort into your game, think up some ideas, match some ones together, then recreate it in FPSC.
Really?
Why would you post this?

I should explain myself better before I meant how do you place a story line in FPS Creator, cause I have an idea of what I what the game will be about, it's just that I don't where in the program FPS Creator do I click on to place it in the game itself of do I have to use DBPRO to write the story line or something cause I like the drag and drop of FPSC. It's just that I want to know how to place it in the game is all.

Amazon has this book used for about 8 bucks. It's a great read.

You need to explain yourself even better than that. What do you mean by "place a story line in FPS Creator"? You make your game based on and idea for a story that you think up. To make a story you think up a situation in your head, and you base your game off it. I don't know what exactly you want, so if you wold please clarify, it would make others able to help you.

Do you mean in the way that
Oblivion is a game
Oblivion has a quest line

You go from x to y and do z in the game?

You're confusing me

I think he means placing a cutscene in a game...

Right?

In that case, you would have to put a story zone in your game. When the player crosses the story zone, the cutscene you created will play.

Make sure your story is in .avi format. IFPSC only reads this...and .mpg, I think. Don't quote me on the .mpg part.

GAME ON!!!

One last thing.

Make sure you place your video in your videobank folder...in case you didn't know that.

GAME ON!!!

easiest way (even a good placeholder) is to insert a text/picture-hud as long as you dont have video/sound-materials.

search for "crthud" in the forum, best way to insert png-pictures into fpsc, it even produces the scriptfiles you need for the triggerzones (marker-zone where hud/video/sound is placed) and puts the choosen pics into the right folders in dds-format. great tool, thanks @wolf for giving me the hint for that.

in this way you can easy create story or character-speach and drive the story through your levels.

just for info:

a concept is a whole description of the project, a project-pitch, including gameplay,graphic-conceptional arts, sounds & music, story and level-scetches etc.

right question would be:
how to place story or text into fpsc-levels?
