it has been some time since the last fpm topic so i thought i would start up a new one. if you have new levels you would like to share with everyone heres the place to do it. i just though i'd would start it up for other who are new to fpsc to see how a good level should be. by the way the levels you put in here you should be willing to let people use them for there own games or to mess with however they see fit.

What's the point of this? Youd need o have all the same models in the exact same directories for this to work... and I heavily doubt that. Its one thing posting pictures of your map, its another to post the map itself

Cheers,
Anayar

its to help out the noobs, objects in the game dont really matter its the level layout itself that most people need help with. besides we most of the time share the things we create here so why not share some level designs. every one who is really good with Fpsc doesn't use stock media in there games but for the rest of the people who are just learning it this would be a great way to get started.

I agree with Anayar and The Zoq2, you can't view other people's fpm maps unless they are made up entirely of just stock segments and entities, or you just happen to have exactly the same custom media, in exactly the same folders.

The thread that The Zoq2 mentioned can be found here;

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=150383&b=25

This thread makes far more sense, as it does exactly what you're wanting; it shows other people the layout of your levels, so that they can 'see how a level should be' as you put it.

If others don't have the models that use use then they won't appear in the map, only maps created with what comes with FPSC; ScFi & WWII would show. Nice idea but doesn't work very well.

I reject your reality and substitute my own...
