I'm looking for white papers or something that explains in detail various image processing techniques, such as HDR and post processing such as SSAO and a lot of geometry altering techniques i don't know how to explain my self....

I'm not sure where you can get detailed info, all I've seen is some overviews by Crytek (from what I remember, they introduced SSAO to games)

I'd say look around the Nvidia website, they'll have some info on geometry altering shader techniques I'm sure

I'm interested image processing also, so if you find anything I would appreciate it if you posted it here. I'll be doing the same

Quote: "Wikipedia? No?"

Wiki seems to give more information about the history of different techniques than it does a detailed explanation of how it works or what it does.

Edit: Haven't read too far into this site yet, but at a glance it seems to be useful. link
