So I've placed some segments and I don't want to replace all of them... I was wondering if I could move them around. Is it possible? Thanks.

Cheers.

Not possible unless you import he mesh into a modelling program and manually translate it up along the y-axis The only other way to move segments up is moving it up a whole layer

Cheers,
Anayar

If I selected the segments and pressed the "-" key, would that work, or do I pressed "Page Down"?

That only works for entities. So what your saying is that you want to move a segment up and down correct? If so, try to go into the segment's .fps files and see if you can change something there. Hope this helps!

Exu is correct you can change offset and rotation in the segment .fps, if you know what height you want them to be that is. You cant change their height on the fly and you cant change one without changing them all (of the same name) if you change the fps. You can change the height in the FPSC Segment editor manually if you wanted or the offset and save 'em out with a different name and simply draw over the ones you want to change.

Dang, never thought of the offset thing in the fps... yeah, thats a viable alternative to opening it up in a modellign program.

Lol, I really dont mean this in a bad way, but I think ya need to take a little time out from all that modeling and build a level or two.

Are you saying that for example you have a room on layer 3, and you want to move it to layer 4 as a whole? IF so then no, you can't. If not then...well...can't help you lol

Yes you can move segments around the map. Use the selection tool to highlight the area of segments you want to move and then press ctrl+x (to cut the segments away) or ctrl+c(to make a copy of the segments. Your cursor will then change into the selected area of segments and you can move them around as you wish.

However, this will only move the segments, if you had also placed entites they will stay on the map where you placed them.

Actually never thought you might just want to move them around, reckon its cause you mentioned PgUp/PgDn.
You could also make the segments you wish to move around a prefab.Do the same with areas you dont want to move and build a completely new level, sometimes deleting/drawing over segments causes array errors.
