I've been trying to put together a series of cylindrical tunnels for my game. I'm not sure whether I should use the models as Entities or try to force them into segments. The entity approach seems much more simple, as I can create the whole thing in one model, but I get the feeling I'm missing something...

Has anyone had any success with creating tubular mazes or tube segments?

Yeah, search Nbt's sewer segments. Anyways, the entity method seems simplest, but there will most probably be problems with enemy and DarkAI collision (falling through the floor). If I were you, id jus use Nbt's pack with your own retexture

I'll second that, I've used them in my sewer/maintanence level, with a re-texture
