Hey guys.
I've decided to try something new, so we'll see how this works.
I thought that because I didn't ever truly give back to the community enough, I should contribute one free piece of my work each week.
I'll do this in the form of a free shader ready segment, sometimes including a few variations.
Not only would it be me giving back to the community, I would be keeping in practice by doing one (or even a few) each week.
But for me to do this, you'd have to understand...
Whatever I release in this thread will be released AS IS, and no support will be given on it, unless there is some error that prevents use by my part.
These textures will also use free resources, such as CGtextures and other texture sites, and some photos of my own.
The commercial ones which I have yet to release contain assets that are all my own, or from one of my commercial texture resources that I have purchased (made for use as commercial base textures)
Alternatively, soon I will have two of my packs for sale, that you may have seen me advertising the past few weeks.
whilst they will have full and continued support, this is the place where you can have a shot at getting a 'personal' segment, or 'what you want' as opposed to the packs. That being said, they will almost be designed to not have the best quality, and will more than likely not have as much effort and time spent on them as my official packs.
Like usual, the pack supports Bond1's normal mapping shader. The new one now too. So use it with that for best results.
Right. Now that that is said, I'll present you with the first kit.
I call it SFR1, just an abbreviation of SciFiRoom1.
Just a reminder; The quality isn't intended to be as great as my official packs, and minimal support is offered on these releases.
How about some screenshots?
In total, there are 5 segments (each with a room, diagonal, and corner piece)
These are
-Caution striped
-Red
-Blue
-Green
-Yellow

Apologies for the quality, but these are just intended to be giving back on a regular basis what I can afford to spend my time on.
I hope someone can find a use for these.
Feel free to post a few suggestions on what you would like to see. (Remember, this isn't a request thread, but you probably will get what you wish for

)
