hello, I have figured out a program that I have been developing to allow a client/server system to work with controlling robots. The client have the capability to tell the robot to say sitting or perform a task. The robot has a integrated computer connected to wifi (robots are servers) so the client computer can be in your house while your robot could be outside. I did make a plugin system that allows other dbpro code or java/c++ to interact with the robot. For example you can make a virtual world plugin to show where the robot is going to do or tell the robot to do something automatically, etc. The dbpro robot code uses macros to execute .spin files to be programmed into the robot hardware (to change function). I might be thinking on selling this as soon as I am dOne, please post on what you think

Hi there,
I've been doing some similar stuff with various controller boards, 3D webcam and normal webcams.
To my opinion DBPro is actually quite good for the task, so rock on, anything beeing done in this matter is a boost!

What robot are you focused on working with?

I build my own robots, I have been building robots since I was 7 years old. (micro controller based since 12). I started c++, java, vb, dbpro, HTML, js, pbasic and spin around sixth grade. The micro contoller I use is the propeller chip... An eight core processor, 100mhz per core with built in drivers. The robot I am building is one That will mow your lawn for you (more functions are coming out!).

I have finally completed the dbpro client software, robot code, and all the plugin software clients. I even made a cool, creative easy interface to give you full help on how to do plugins and to use the software. I am thinking on having the software come with the robot (when selling) but have the software cost money if you are buying it separately (if you know how to build a robot and all). But I am still needing to truly test it in a good simulation.
