Is there a way i can check what type of fpsc ive got because i want to download model pack 53 but it only works on fpsc 18 apparently.. and if i update now then my hole level will mess up..

Yes, there is. In FPSC, click the Check for Updates button and it will tell you your version. Or you can go in the FPSC directory and there will be a version.txt file I think.
