I have added input to discussions on what model making should be made, so many times I have said large architecture pieces and Gothic style, but always ignored for shouts of tiny objects, a toaster, a carriage clock, a teasmaid, his and hers matching bath robes, a cuddly toy, its like a re run of the generation game, objects too small to add anything to the big picture, I am old school, being a level designer from the days of quake and unreal, you had to design a level, many users of fpsc have no history of level design, so they create box rooms filled with brick a brak objects, So here we have it, that's what a level looks like when one actually builds it on architecture, always nice to see what you are working on, look forward to seeing the release of the full game.

thanx,
it is not easy to make real 'not square' architecture design in FPSC but like You see very possible.
we have plan to make about 50 levels with unigue architecture.

Insomnia is coming...

Heres a picture, with the floor textures updated less red glow. More lighting to do to make it more creepy. Puzzle and other objects left to do. Some mapping issues in the top section to fix yet.

floor ruins it, Ive no idea even what the floor is meant to be, also lighting needs work its very flat, where are the light sources. Apart from the silver beam, I cant see any lighting really. Its a great start, but is being ruined from what it could be. If you work on the weak features, I am sure it will be super.

Hey buddy how about I do the floor k? Cuz those floors look like they are made of jolly ranchers (No offence!!!!) So yeah just tell me what size you need and I'll be off!

Edit - Almost forgot there's a catch. If I make the floor you have to put it in my horror community pack!

hi,

floor could looks weird for You because basically in this concept floor is just 90 degrees flip of some obituary walls from previous level... so this is intended idea.

An update shot of the cyberhall progress. Left side is FPSC ingame shot and some map shots. On the right is the UDK level design from a gentalmen name Chris Holden. You can go to his sight from the link address printed on the lower right side of the picture.

A larger size picture is in the download button to see a bit bigger.

Thanks for all the comments, Working on implementing them. Of coarse final lighting will be last.

Here is a veoh video showing the animation and lightmap test.
Level about 70% done. Have to animate the characters and script the puzzle.

the creator of the environment is Chris Holden and you can see more of his stuff at www.chris holden.net

Thanks, Quite the task getting these to work in FPSC, But I think they will be worth it when finished with the characters and rest of the props.
