FPSC Classic Product Chat / Spawning enemy

For the 3 years I have used FPSC,
I still can't spawn an enemy after a delay...
I'm using the basic appear1 and no DarkAI stuff
-I have spawn at start set to no.
-I have spawn after delay set to yes
-I have the delay at 1000 which should be 10 seconds(?) I even tried a delay of 10.

Please help.

Maybe I can help...

Try setting the delay to 10000 instead of 1000 to see if that works...

I think setting the delay at 1000 will make the entity spawn after 1 second, not 10 seconds (1000=1 sec, 10000=10 sec, etc.)

Hope this helps. Let me know if this works out for you....

The thing is, it doesn't spawn at all...

Have you set a trigger zone for the entity to spawn?

You have to place the entity on the map editor then use what you said above to set the parameters.

Set Entity.
Set Maximum To Spawn to 1 (unless you plan to have him spawn again and again after death).
Set Spawn at Start to NO.
Set Spawn After Delay to YES.
Set Delay to 10000.
Apply Changes.

Make sure you name the entity too. You will need this name for the trigger zone.

Set trigger zone.
For MAIN, use playeractivatedifused.fpi
Then for If Used, type in the name of the entity to spawn.

Try this and see if it helps.
