Hello world !

I have a small problem with the management of bone, explanation:

I created an arm (that of your friend Robert, your friend Suzanne! or the arm from the hand of god !)

Easily created with the tutorial with Ant !!
Test! It works perfectly!

Quickly, I create an animation !

I export in direct X !

Or in 3DS !
But the animation does not work DBPro (play object .....)

Why ?

Thank you for helping me

Captain-Ouais !

I do what i do !!!

3DS does not carry animation info.

As for .X, i've been trying on my own a lot, i have asked here people countless times, and no helpful answer yet whatsoever...

-In.Dev.X: A unique heavy story based shoot'em ~35%
-CoreFleet: An underground commander unit based RTS ~15%
-TailsVSEggman: An Sonic themed RTS under development for idea presentation to Sega ~15%

@Captain Ouais - you should post your exported directX arm object (with bone animation) for others to check out, maybe someone will be able to help you

I don´t know if there`s a panada plugin for canvas ...I have used in 3DMax and Maya and they works perfect.

It works for sure, but you will need the correct version.

This is the correct configuration for exporting

This other example is moving vertex in Dbpro

The X file you linked us to contains all this sort of stuff:

Care to enlighten us as to what that is all about? Looks vaguely relevant. (There's many more lines like that.)

Perhaps you pressed the wrong button when you exported the file?

Did you actually look in the X file?

Look in the file x will not allow myself to move forward, I do not have the level required to analyze such data !

I use 3D Canvas Pro to create my 3D objects and the only way to export as x is supplied with a script!
I do not know what else or whether it is possible to do otherwise !

I will try...

Neither do we. Does any of this look familiar to you?

That is exactly as I found it in your X file. Are you saying you didn't type any of that?

@Green Gandalf mmmm I didn't know what where you talking about and I have seen with the note pad what you mean...

Quote: "//RemoveMeForLimitedSkeletalInformation// 1.0, //can I output 1.0 for all? (meaning all bones have equal influence)"

For the Capital letters ....it looks like someone was testing the plug-in before launching the dll I have never seen that into a .x I was very fond of playing with .x changing values mmmmm.

cheers.

the dll does not work with 3d canvas !
it would be folly to try to manually edit files !!!

Do you know if the last 3Dcanvas (3d crafter) in exports. x carefree?

Yess but that is really posible, as directx is a lenguage too. Most programs export .x in normal string text, and other expor encrypting text . For 3DMax I remember I made some scripts and we had to add some coments to be posible to read in the future like we do rem in Dbpro....so the one that made the scrip fo canvas, probably did

Well....the plugin I meant for Max and many others is PANDA EXPORTER (not panada...I wrote wrong ...sorry) and there are several free programs to download...it´s a question of try and check.

Cheers.

Whenever you export a object that you also want the animation data for the object/scene, use File/Export/X, don't use the script export as that does not export animation data.

Also for testing the animation in DBPro, use "Loop Object" instead of "Play Object"

Hope this helps .
