Hello as you can see from the title i have finished my project i was working on. And now when i try and play it it will just say "Run time error 7008 - object does not exist at line 17127" But when i was building the game i could test it and it would work but now that i built it to exe it says that can some one or anyone help i just spent about 4-5 days on it so please dont say to remake it or something like that alright well thank you

(i have checked sky box its fine and i have rebuilt game 3 times and sorry for double posting i just really want this to be fixed and no 1 is posting in my other one and .............. I HAVE USED GOOGLE TO FIND FIX AND SEARCHING HERE SO DONT SAY TO USE SEARCH BAR)

Hold tight buddy, you only waited 14 minutes for a response. I'm downloading the source code for Dark Basic Professional now and will try to figure out what line 17127 is looking for.

Yup, because you're running Vista/Win7 you don't have permissions setup correctly so when you're running your 'built' game it can't create/edit files and images on the fly during runtime because it doesn't have permissions.

You need to set user and folder permissions to enable full read/write access.

Also, please don't double post.
Secondly, please try and wait a little bit longer than 14 minutes for a response!

Darn, Sting beat me to it. Yes either set folder permissions or turn off UAC (user account control)

Turning off UAC doesn't help unfortunately. You need to seriously tweak the permissions to the death.

If you want to use that computer as a development computer you're gonna have to study this and tweak to your needs! Or just rollback to XP

sting i just want to get my game to work atm can you help me get it to work or tell me how to get it to work im not going to check this forum for 1 week and by then i really hope some 1 tells me a fix
