Hello there, my question would be, can i use API calls with dark basic pro, and if i can how? (Windows 7)

Yes you can

It sounds quite simple, You first load in the relevent Dll using the load dll dll Name$,dll number command; and then call the function you want using the result=call dll(dll number,function name$,params).

The problem (I find at least) comes from searching through the MSDN website looking for function names and dll names and what params are needed.

Yeah, I was going to look into this to access the DBP windows messaging for the SetTimer and KillTimer functions. Apparently they are in User32.dll. I'm sure there's somewhere in these forums and example of their usage.

No, i now which dll to use. That's awsome then. I am gonna stay with dark basic pro. Lol i tried so many things after it didn't knew i can call API functions. Cool!
