which one is fastest at drawing 2D dots/lines in very large quantities? (more than 10.000/frame minimum)

And ofcourse with d3d and a2 i would use batching
Or is there some faster method which i have not heard off?
Thanks

d3d and a2 will be the fastest. They should be roughly the same speed.

You can't not use blending in either a2 or d3d. Using a2SetBlendMode just changes the default blend mode chosen by me in a2, and d3d always uses the same blend mode.
Using separate blending for the alpha channel (the overload of a2SetBlendMode) may cause a minor slow-down on some cards.
