Hey guys!
After a slightly longer break I'm back with something nice for you.

Today I edited the water shader, first seen in my Combined Mod, so it works completly without any source modification.
In the archive, at the end of this post, you will find a licence (would be nice if someone would really read it) and of course the needed files.
Also in the Licence, you find a quick info on how to use the files (if you don't know it already).

But now I will stop talking. Here is a little screen and the download:

DG, thank you so much! I really like your water shaders. They always make even the smallest puddle look amazing. As a small question/request. Whenever you have time is there a way you can make that water shader that evolved has (edited a little by you of coarse) FPSC ready without a mod? Your guys water shaders are some of the coolest stuff ever.

Thanks again DG! awesome work.

Thanks guys.

@soviet176:
If you talk about the one with "real" waves, so this one here:

http://www.evolved-software.com/shaders/AdvancedLighting/AdvancedLighting1_.PNG

[Mod Edit - Made the image a link as it was too large]

Well this can not work, as he is using a own object for the waves, so this will not work without it.

@DG

Bah oh well what can you do. Did you ever have plans for a underwater shader like you had in your previous mod? I think that was possibly one of the coolest effects I have ever seen. The effect that made it look as if light was beaming down into the water and was on almost all the objects.

Thanks again guys.

I re-uploaded the archive with a newer version of the shader, as the first one did not use any colors which were defined in your script. This is now possible.

So you better redownload the files

sic1ne: The information you seek is in the license document, which you should read.

This is a nifty looking water shader, DG. Great that it doesn't require any source mods either. Thanks!

Hey guys a updated the shader again.
I added a blur routine for the refraction (which you can see in the new comparison screen in the first post).

I also updated the arhciv with the newer shader.

Just to point out, the blur seems to be disabled by default.

@uzi idiot:
Normally the Blur is not disabled. It's just not that high so it looks good but you don't get eye cancer by looking at the water. So it should be active (if you have the latest shader version).

@hamburger:
This question does not really belong here. But I answered it seveeral times in the LRMod thread, where it really belongs to.

shader is very smooth and looks great. is there a way to get it less performance-consuming than at the moment? better than the original one, but still a mess with more than 3 entities

I think thats because TGC turned up the quality of the 2 cameras. THey should have left it with the rather low one and add a little blur, like I did now, so it does not look that bad.

But for me there is nothing I can do about that.
