Im sorry i have no idea how i should title this. I hate making request and i don't know if this should be in Product Chat or in Scripts. If it needs to be moved can a mod please do that? Thanks!

Alright so i was wondering, is there anyway WITHOUT A MOD to make the screen kind of fade to white if you know what i mean? Like instead of the screen fading to black in the winzone, do you think there would be a way to change that to white? I want a flashback kind of look to it. If anyone can help me with that it will be greatly appreciated. If not it's alright! I will try on my own to edit the winzone (probably not a good idea -___-)..

Thanks for reading guys!

EDIT - I have no idea how to edit the winzone, it use the script plrinzone. Why? Isn't there a winzone script or am i just missing something?

The Win Zone is set as the objective in the fpe file. To make it fade to white, edit the fader image in the Files\gamecore\huds folder. Fill the image with white. Save it as fader2.dds. In FPSC goto File/Build Game and Edit the Global Scripts Fade Out Image. And there you have it.

I know what you mean. The last couple of days I have been working on some custom media and have been running into road blocks left and right. Because of the way I saved my room segment meshes, the CSG wasn’t working properly. I couldn’t get my illumination map to work on my static entity. It’s been one thing after another. Everybody here makes it look so easy Well anyway it’s been my pleasure to help.

Btw: almost had the flashlight script ready for you. But the HUD image didn’t save right. Maybe I’ll have it ready by this afternoon.

When did i ask for a flashlight script? Oh in that thread in the Scripts section of the forums? I was asking Ched and 2Beastmod4u, you didn't have to do it? Well this should be cool then, have 2 people making it and we can see which one turns out better!

Well thanks for all of your help, and you never had to do the flashlight thing -___-

While searching for this thread Flashlight, Batteries included [v117]. I noticed you have it. Just replace the flash.dds with the attached image. If you need something more specific, let me know. As for the flashlight script it doesn’t get any better than mentored1’s. But who knows hopefully Ched80 or 2Beastmode4u will prove me wrong.

Cheers.

OK, I've put the WASP version of the flash light in the script request thread. It currently works by collecting a torch and then pressing "L" to switch the dynamic light on.

The stock version is in progress, but not ready yet.

Enjoy!

Alright, sadly i have to wait because i don't have WASP and don't plan on getting it. Mod's always mess up my FPSC and then i have to re-install everything. But take you time alright? Thanks Ched!

Yes i have tried them, and they are very nice!

Does anyone know of a way i could get a flashlight weapon? So it looks like your holding a flashlight? Could i somehow replace Errant AI's LED's with the torch from ww2 or scifi? Just wondering of course!

Thanks for commenting!

Yes, but you would have to make it into a weapon.

I don't know how I'd improve that script other than to apply shadows.

Cheers.

God help me, Please.
