Hello all,

Just a gripe here. I ordered a model pack last Friday and have yet to receive the download notification, or any notification for that matter. I received an order confimation when I placed the order but have heard nothing since. I sent a request for an answer to the e-mail provided with the confirmation. Still nothing. Anyone know whats going on? Great idea, how about instead of using a outside payment company how about they do it themselves like everyother website and make the downloads availible immediatly after payment? Just a thought. Not sure if it makes too much sense or not.

hmm they used to be really quick, I sent in an order at about 7:30 am today and the cash left my bank at the same time, methinks they will not make their 24 hour target.

Have to say as a business model manually approving an order when you are already confident that you have received payment makes no business sense, all you are doing is adding to your costs

What makes even less sense is the same day I bought 2000 points from the store. I got my points immediatly. How does that work? Makes no sense.

@Troutflies

TGC don't work weekends and payment for model packs is check before it is released. Points on the other hand are done automatically and you will get them once you have paid. So I would advise wait abit longer and they should get back to you.

As Deathcow has said, TGC do not work on the weekends; so if you've ordered late on Friday it probably won't get seen until Monday, if you've ordered during the week, then give it a day or two (don't forget holidays as well).

I reject your reality and substitute my own...

Ok Deathcow I understand that part. Firstly it's been well over the 72 hour mark. Secondly Points are done automatically? Does it make sense that you pay pretty much the same amount for a model pack as you would points? Maybe because of the content model packs include, but either way if the money is't there and you still provide the product, wouldn't you still loose money? Thirdly Ihave ordered several model packs in the past and have received the email the next day. In addition wouldn't a option to download now, something resembling e-bay's buy now option be something to consider? How many users would opt to pay a little extra now to get the item instantly as opposed to waiting? You could even add a little extra content in the buy now option. I am simply making an argument for a better system. i am not trying to anger anyone here. I just don't understand the thinking behind how the system is set up.

@Troutflies

If there is a problem then that would be something you should contact TGC about. I was simply stating what I know about their payment system.

I wasn't aware you wanted to debate this, but I personally think the system is fine the way it is. I have bought lots of stuff from TGC and never have had a problem.
