Hello all i downloaded milkshape 3d today and got the hang of the basics prettty quickly and came up with this Shack and Grain silo model.

I was wanting to know how you managed to export everything into FPSC.

I have the .x file already but it wont show up in fpsc. do i need to add a script?

attached is a screenshot of my very first model.

You need to run your .x file through Entity Workshop and it will make the files for you.

You can get it here and it's free.

DO NOT USE ENTITY WORKSHOP! (aka "Make Entities from .X" or "Entity Maker")

The models that I produce in Entity Maker only make FPSC crash (for me).

I would just go to your ww2 entity folder, go to one of the furniture folders, and copy one of the FPE files.

Then open it with Notepad and fix all of the appropriate fields as needed.

Your stuff looks awesome, hope things work out!

By the way, I have been having problems getting entities I export from Wings 3D and Fragmotion to work with stock media in FPSC. If you don't have any trouble getting you silo and shack into FPSC with stock media or something, please tell us! I would LOVE to know!

I use it ALL the time and so does Cosmic. There is nothing wrong with the program at all. Try it and see how it works for you. If it doesn't work for some odd reason, then just uninstall it.

Really? If this "Entity Workshop" is a different program than the one TGC offers for free in the the FPSC Downloads section (Entity Maker), then I will readily assume you are right (since I have never even heard of an Entity Workshop offered outside of TGC's).

If it's the same one... well, maybe it's just my computer.

Sorry for any misunderstanding,

It is a very different program. Personally I think it takes more time using that than it does copying an fpe and changing a few things. It is all down to preference.
