Dude.....

So...ThoughtWire..can I take you up on those segments for the snowytime pack? LOL

I do understand though. And I am sure you will love Unity. But just like any other engine it will have its ups and downs. I spent a little bit of time in UDK and found the learning curve much steeper than Unity but I only played around for a couple hours.

Either way, good luck!

Cheers,

Well as one last parting image for you...

Here's a screeny of my just finished (Woot! Woot!), mini-game on music and mathematics. Some proof at least that you can make finished games in x10 that aren't first-person shooters:

I actually have to use health for scoring in the game cause everything is done in scripts. However, I shouldn't have said finished 'cause still need to mod the scoring GUI. But the gameplay and all assets are complete. 600 lines of scripts all linked with runfpi.

Thanks, Thoughtwire!

And @NIlooc223 I mean runfpi=blah/blah.fpi to link all my scripts cause I just discovered that FPSC has a limit of 80 states per script!!! Wish that was documented somewhere so I didn't spend 5 hours freaking out about why my code stopped working.

Well, Nilloc...
I have no doubt you'll be back someday. These forums are too cool, and you'll miss all of us.

Though goodbye for now.

@ srealist I'd LOVE to see how that game you made plays out, you should post it on the showcase board! It is unique for an FPSC game (X10 or otherwise), and quite honestly looks visually stunning!
