Hey there,

This is my first post so im sorry if it is in the wrong place. i have loooked through the forums to try and find a solution but i was unsuccessful.

The problem im having is that during my character movement, have of another frame is being shown too. look at the attached picture for more of an idea.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you...

Your sprites are set up wrong it looks like. When you setup the animated sprite or when you manually do it, you need to ensure you grab the right bits, or ensure that your sprite sheet is spaced equally.

Hmm, i see what you mean. but all the sprites are in the correct order. all the animations work just the problem i have is stated above. however, im gunna give the spacing thing a go...so thanks for that.

some of my sprites are slightly wider (width) than others...will this matter? or will i jus have to make sure they are all the same width?

All you have to do is make sure that the size of each frame is the same. It doesn't mean the image of the sprite has to take up the whole frame. It's ok to have blank space around each image. Look up some sprite sheets online, and you'll see what I mean.
