hi @all,

i have a problem (a big one) on the design of my actual map. i use simple grounds without a wall around like an open bridge that has a few edges in it when turning into other directions. problem is that my enemies (melee running straight on the character) getting caught on these edges when player runs behind the edges. i could build walls, but i want this open-range feeling and player has to be able to get pushed off the bridge.

i know i can optimize leveldesign and have done this, but you cannot avoid this in all situations the players will get into.

is there a way to get the stucking erased with better moving-scripts or anything else (like small, invincible barricades the player can pass but the enemies cant)?

please help, this is essential to get on with my game and dont let the enemies look too stupid.

EDIT: oh, please dont get the solution to run darkAI characters, i dont want enemies that search for cover or run away when getting shot.
